Will Schenk specializes in helping leaders at all levels to build high-performing teams, optimize talent, and create inclusive environments that motivate employees to do their best. Since 2005, he has been a nimble change agent, delivering talent strategies and HR solutions that have helped both Fortune 100 companies and digital startups transform their operations, build new capabilities, and scale for the future.
Most recently, Will served as the Senior HR Business Partner for Tech at Audible, Inc. There, he worked with the Technology, Product and Design executives and was accountable for developing the people strategy in support of their business priorities. Working with a cross-functional Tech HR team, he led the delivery of programs that materially improved performance management, talent planning, and change resilience.
Prior to working at Audible, Will spent over 10 years at American Express, where he held progressive roles across the HR function. There, he led the transformation of a global ER service model and managed the corporate response to the 2009 H1N1 (Swine Flu) pandemic. Will also supported the global restructuring and carve-out of a PE-backed joint venture partnership, and then partnered with executives to help stand up their functions in the new joint venture.
Will received a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from Lehigh University and is a member of the Organizational Design Community. He is passionate about educational equity and environmental sustainability and enjoys working with Harlem Children’s Zone and the Hudson River Watershed Alliance to improve those outcomes within his community.
