Steve Kowitz has worked as a Human Resources executive for both large and small, high-growth companies since 1980. His expertise includes human capital planning, total rewards, compensation, HR information systems, legal management, performance management and mergers & acquisitions. 

Throughout his career, Steve has established human resources departments at three different companies, including a regional real estate firm and a high-growth private equity firm in the specialty pharmaceutical industry, serving as the first HR executive in each. In these roles, he created and oversaw the implementation of comprehensive human capital strategies designed to power growth.  

Steve has consulted with multiple companies, including as part of a global human capital transformation team, providing expertise and direction in the implementation of new, global compensation programs and processes, and serving as interim director of compensation and benefits for a pharmaceutical company.  

Steve holds an MBA from Binghamton University. He received his bachelor’s degree with a concentration in history from Moravian University. Steve is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt.
