Sandra Garcia

Sandra Garcia has worked in Marketing & Communications and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) since 2008. She specializes in combining her Diversity & Inclusion leadership experience with her sales and marketing background to create, execute, and enhance organizational DEI initiatives.

Sandra’s experience includes developing marketing strategies and compelling sales programs for organizations such as Clear Channel Outdoor, Time Warner Cable Media, PEOPLE.com and CNNMoney.com. She has also strategized for brands including Toyota, Estee Lauder, Apple, Sephora, Pepsi, and American Express. Additionally, Sandra has been a featured speaker and moderated discussions at Google, Microsoft, Buzzfeed, General Assembly, Young and Rubicam, New York University, Pace University, Dickinson College, Baruch College, and Howard University. Sandra is the founder of Afro-LatinaBeauty.com, an online destination for stories of Afro-Latinas sharing the same intercultural experience.

Sandra received her B.A. in Psychology from Dickinson College and has completed the Digital Excellence Program offered by the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.  She served as the NY Chapter President of the National Association of Multi-Ethnicity In Communications (N.A.M.I.C) and currently sits on the Board of Directors of both N.A.M.I.C and Digital Diversity Network (DDN). Sandra was awarded the 2018 Innovation & Inclusion Culture Catalyst honor by the DDN, was a Forbes 30 Under 30 2016 nominee, and was selected as a Top 25 Future Latino Leader (ages 25-35) by Latino Leaders Magazine. Sandra is also a certified Professional Diversity Coach through Coach Diversity Institute.
