Laura Gruber has worked in Human Resources since 1997. Laura has extensive experience in the areas of recruiting, performance management, talent planning, employee relations, employee engagement and organizational training and development. Laura has partnered with executive teams to develop HR agendas and initiatives that support business strategies and drive business success.
Laura is a strategic Human Resources Business Partner who has worked in several industries including technology, finance and transportation and logistics. As Director of Human Resources at INTTRA Inc., she led a talent acquisition team to implement the technology team’s talent growth strategy by sourcing qualified candidates, developing interview teams, designing attractive compensation plans and improving the overall candidate experience. In addition, she improved employee retention by implementing employee engagement and recognition programs and surveys and initiated a global intranet site to house HR policies, resources and guidelines.
Prior to working at INTTRA, Laura worked at The Capital Group Companies, Inc. where she managed the Human Resources function for six investment offices on the East Coast. Laura implemented new HR programs including an Onboarding program and New Manager training programs and improved employee and team performance by managing all employee relations and performance management matters and hiring qualified financial producers. Laura received her B.A. in International Studies and Spanish from Muhlenberg College. She is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management.
