Colleen Lauria

Colleen Lauria has been in HR Business Partner roles since 1994. Her specialties include workforce planning, employee relations, organizational design and HR strategy and she has driven initiatives in all areas of HR including operations, compensation, L&D and compliance. Colleen has advised executive teams in media, advertising, content production and biotech and is well-versed in the challenges of organizations in transformation.

As a consultant, Colleen advisies start-ups and small to medium size businesses on setting up strategic HR operations, advising executive teams on HR strategy, and assisting with organizational transformation. Prior to consulting, Colleen led the North America HR Operations for Hogarth Worldwide through their US and LatAm expansion. She steered HR while the company grew from 25 to 250 employees and 7 offices throughout North America.

Prior to Hogarth, Colleen held positions that involved leading HR teams through high-growth and business transformation including iVillage, MySpace, DraftFCB and ROVI (formerly TV Guide’s media arm). In each role she succeeded in making the HR team relevant, credible, approachable and a critical component of the company’s success.

Colleen received her B.S. in Business from Concordia College. She is a Board member of NAMI NYC, the largest chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness. She is also a member of various HR organizations and participates in several initiatives aimed at improving female representation in corporations at management levels.
